Happy New Year TAM’s! I hope 2013 is a good year for all in terms of health, spirit, productivity and anything else you desire. I also have a good feeling the conservatives are going to own this year. 😉

Can you believe this! “Decisions about whether the House will seek to accept or promptly amend the measure will not be made until House members — and the American people — have been able to review the legislation,” they said.

Like americans have a say right now in the process. Like our representatives do what we want. Ha!

Happy New Year to the Tammy Army Members ! Happy New Year Tammy!

We’re awaiting the start of the new year in the heartland in about 15 minutes.

I’m most grateful for my new nephew who is the greatest joy.

Nevertheless, aside from his birth, 2012 has been a great disappointment, personally & professionally.

I pray for a better 2013 for us all.

1/1/13 NY Post lead editorial, Administration will sue States if they don’t stop putting mentally ill in adult housing where their medication taking can be supervised. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/editorials/here_come_the_crazies_5ojKhmFYcmvp7oBfoWrOPK

And article on Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) incompetence following Sandy was essentially foreseen by Republican Patatki who campaigned against it, but when he won the Governorship, he didn’t follow thru and stop deal forming LIPA.

My New Year’s salute to everyone; Thank you and let’s go!

I have a New Year’s celebration beginning of having steak and eggs as the first meal of the year. My recommendation is have something special as part of your first New Year meal, be it poached instead of scrambled, canadian bacon, grilled tomato, or fresh squeezed oj. Don’t let the food police or diet resolutions restrict starting the New Year on a happy note.

So I went early to Denny’s for the T-bone breakfest – excellent. While there, a young woman in silver heels, tight black mini, and red streaked hair came in to pick up the takeout for her fellow revelers. Also, my waitress showed me the bill for $150 that was walked out on earlier this New Year’s Day. On it was a T-bone steak breakfest which she could now mark as having been subsequently sold, since I bought one. So the year begins, a big walkout, a celebration takeout, and a T-bone steak; I’m ready for 364 more, Cheers All!

Looking on the bright side–2013 has to be better than 2012. There’s nowhere to go but up.

Tammy and Tams- God Bless us all in this New Year.We pray for the protection of our Constitution on which this regime is wiping its feet. But Tams, please keep Tammy in your prayers because they could try to silence her passion for telling the truth. In her talent for rapid fire pronouncements, they could put politically correct pressure on her show as they have been known to do with others. Its a real David and Goliath impasse, and as Tammy says,”Obamma’s just not that into you.”

With respect to the fiscal cliff, I have only one question: Does this set us on a path to living within our means? That’s vastly more important to me than the tax levels. If our plan is sustainable, we live. If it’s more of borrow-and-spend-till-doomsday, then we die. And relatively soon. Seems that Washington is keeping us on the death path.

Having solved our financial woes, Washington will now pivot to the critical issue of disarming the American people.

  20. Maynard says:

Meanwhile, here’s a reminder of what a hellhole the rest of the world is.

“New Year’s Day 2013: 60 killed in Ivory Coast stampede during New Year fireworks”

    Maybe we should outlaw feet.

Here’s a link to an obit. of Patti Page who died New Years day. Tennessee Waltz was released as the B side of the record, Boogie Woogie Santa Claus, because Mercury Records didn’t want any jazzy song to deflect from the A side Christmas song. One of my favorite albums is, Patti Page Sings HiFi.
