Got an email a month or so ago about a guy who saved an eagle, and they became close friends, this is a great video. The Eagle is our American symbol of Strength and Freedom, Thank God someone is giving the injured ones good care…..

Now, when first reading these headlines, I was going to comment…..

Michael Vick???…. He’d better bring his COAT!

I have been to The American Bald Eagle Foundation and Live Raptor Center in Haines, Alaska twice. And I can assure you, these birds are absolutely phenomenal to experience up close. To see these gorgeous creatures all over Alaska, the exquisite wildlife, and the breathtaking scenery is why I will be going back to Alaska for my third time, later this year. If anyone has a chance to go to Alaska, I strongly recommend it. Every time I visit, I imagine that this is what heaven will look like in the hereafter. Pictures just don’t do it justice. You have to be there to totally absorb just how magical and magnificent Alaska truly is. Sarah Palin is absolutely correct when she says that Alaska is one of the most beautiful places on earth. 🙂

Are you sure these “rehabilitated” eagles have repaid their debt to society? Maybe the funds to incarcerate them were sequestered by Obama to pay for his solid gold golf tees, and unreformed eagles are being released into the Obama economy where they will immediately return to their old habits as birds of prey?

Also, how are we to know the eagles are in good health? I understand the reporters’ style guide no longer allows use of the term “ill eagle”.
