Because they don’t have “distribution rights.”
You need “distribution rights” to link to a private citizen’s tweet?
Who knew?
Via American Mirror.
….While the AP may not have express distribution rights, nothing stops them from tweeting a link to the amateur video — except maybe bias or an effort to limit the damage to Hillary Clinton’s presidential prospects….
The AP has deleted a tweet of video of Hillary Clinton after the 9/11 memorial ceremony as we no longer have distribution rights.

Her android battery pack was running down…Had to go to Chelsea’s to get a recharge.
Think the AP has some reason here. For a bad reason but still real. In some European countries (Spain, Germany…), news internet sites including simply aggregator sites owe compensation to linked articles including photos (videos) unless originator agrees that you can link without compensation. Not enforced well so far, but the EU is right now looking at making this policy effective for the entire EU. U.S. turning over internet domain name rights to international group may increase this danger. EU hates Drudge too.
Re: your comment, I just added to post from the American Mirror article:
“While the AP may not have express distribution rights, nothing stops them from tweeting a link to the amateur video — except maybe bias or an effort to limit the damage to Hillary Clinton’s presidential prospects.”
Ill-ary: Giving a new meaning to the phrase “Fall Campaign.”
She’s not well. I really feel bad for her.
Vote Trump. He will leave no shoe behind.
LOL
I don’t know if this has been hashed to death yet, but I saw a video close-up noting that, as Hillary’s foot was lifted, if you look closely, you’ll see a bit of metal, maybe the size of a key, fall out of her pant leg and onto the ground. This isn’t necessary a great mystery, but in the context of the ongoing suppression of information, every scrap of data gets examined. Any comment?
Here’s the clip, with close-up and slow-down. If you watch closely, you’ll see it, after which it will be obvious on rewind: youtu.be/YzZl9j580tM.
Perhaps it was her “wind-up” key?
