I will be traveling tomorrow to NY. Once I get there I’ll fill you in about my week to come. In the meantime, here’s your Babe for the Weekend. This time it’s English actress Keeley Hawes. I figure spotlighting the usual suspects is always good, but it’s also nice to broaden our horizons and feature those who may not be as well known. Hey, I’m always thinking about what’s best for you, and for this weekend, that would be Keeley. As an additional Babe factor, Keeley voices Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider:Legend videogame.

Now while I’m in the air, it’s up to you to pontificate about the issues at hand.

I read two passages this morning that come from the readings for today May 21st. Not trying to preach but just want to share because they are of hope and love. First, Acts 10 34-35 Peter says ” I begin to see how true it is that God shows no partiality. Rather , the man of any nation who fears God and acts uprightly is acceptable to him.” Second, John 15 9-17 There is no greater love than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Welcome to the beautiful east coast, our beaches are better !

That’s an amazing picture, Horse: absolutely ethereal. O to be in England! 🙂

Cool, she’s the voice of Lara Croft in the new XBox 360 game Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend. It was a good game. I’m glad they got a real English lady to do her voice instead of an American imitating a bad English accent. I also like that they got a real hottie to play a video game hottie.

By the way, I think everyone needs to see the “United 93” movie. It’s very well done, in that it doesn’t preach or tell us how to react; it lets the story tell itself. And the story is, as you know, very powerful. Bring a handkerchief and maybe even a barf bag. But you’ve got to have this experience. Don’t think about it; just do it. That is an order.

I’m disappointed in the New Orleans election results to the point that I regret my monetary contribution following Katrina. And by the way, Tammy, you have excellent taste —

I saw it last weekend Horse and I agree everyone should see it especially the spineless politicians wavering on the war on terror. What those poor souls went through was hard to watch. They really are heros for bringing the plane down before the madmen could reach their final destination.

Tammy, was listening to your “stolen” license plate story, and you had me in stitches, playing the different roles with different voices, you should do more of that, though I realize it was off the kuff! I still laugh when I remember the part about the two strolling along with the dog, and “made a loop back” priceless my dear!

Your radio shows are the best for the female version of talk radio, and I have listened to talk for fifty years, so you can take that as a compliment. Levin is the male guy, equaling Rush in a different way, I like Levin’s explaining the law! Vitoria Lake is cool, so you keep up the good and humerous work, this old ww 2 vet loves ya baby!!!
