Charles at LGF has a guest post by Duncan Hunter about Israel. It’s quite good, and important to get to know a presidential candidate like Hunter who is best known for the immigration issue. Let’s not let someone like that get marginalized by Republicans who eat Hunter’s dust on the border and national security issues. Now it’s clear he’s as forthright about one of the most serious international issue we face–the war against Israel by terrorists. I’m impressed and encourage you to read it.

I will also be having Hunter on Tammy Radio tomorrow where we will discuss his presidential campaign, the amnesty bill (of course), as well as his thoughts on Israel and the war. I’m also curious about his opinion about the Kelo decision and eminent domain. Don’t ever forget how private property was essentially stripped from us by that decision. The president, btw, has never commented about that 2005 decision. Now we know why–he’s a big government liberal a contingent that thinks private property should take a back seat to what government wants.

Please feel free to use this thread to suggest the questions you’d like Mr. Hunter to answer.

I saw Rep. Hunter speak last Friday and found him to be a solid conservative. I liked that he stayed behind for a long time after the event and was available for anyone to go up and talk to him.

He had some interesting things to say about China, that they are “cheating on trade” by artificially manipulating their currency. I was wondering if he supported tariffs on Chinese goods and tariffs on foreign products in general.

I also want his exact position on the Fairtax. I heard he spoke at the Fairtax rally in South Carolina but don’t know what he said.

I’d be interested in his thoughts on global warming, aka, climate change.

I’d be interested in hearing his thoughts on how he would handle Iran.

I’m so glad you’re having him on the show. The more I hear from him, the more I like him. Heard Romney this morning. Not very direct in his responses. Very measured and careful. I hate that. Made me bristle. Don’t trust him. Definitely off the list.

Duncan Hunter actually seems real. Genuine and unadulterated. And he is an “enforce the border first”-girl’s dream.:)
