Cindy in one of a multitude of situations that had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with her.

Perhaps now she can spend time getting the mental health treatment she needs. In what should stand as the best example of a piece written by a MalNar, Sheehan quits whatever it was she appointed herself to. Why now? Here, let me translate her Resignation Notice posted at Daily Kos: (HT Drudge).

“Good Riddance Attention Whore”

1. Everyone hates me now, even the Dems (“I have endured a lot of smear and hatred since Casey was killed and especially since I became the so-called “Face” of the American anti-war movement…I have been further trashed on such “liberal blogs” as the Democratic Underground.”)

2. The money has dried up. (” [W]hen I started to hold the Democratic Party to the same standards that I held the Republican Party, support for my cause started to erode…”)

3. People stopped paying attention to me. (“I guess no one paid attention to me when I said that the issue of peace and people dying for no reason is not a matter of “right or left”, but “right and wrong.”)

4. Democrats are blind and stupid and just like Repubs because they don’t agree with me, either. (“It amazes me that people who are sharp on the issues and can zero in like a laser beam on lies, misrepresentations, and political expediency when it comes to one party refuse to recognize it in their own party.”)

5. America is evil. (“a fascist corporate wasteland…”)

cindykey.jpg

Cindy grieving the loss of her son during her work to stop all the death and destruction, for which everyone is so ungrateful.

6. I wasted all my money and ignored my family to try to prove to myself I am not the attention whore that apparently I am. (“I have also reached the conclusion that if I am doing what I am doing because I am an “attention whore” then I really need to be committed.”)

7. America is an ungrateful bitch. (“I have invested everything I have into trying to bring peace with justice to a country that wants neither.”)

8. I’m in debt and won’t pay my bills because America is evil. (“my hospital bills from last summer (when I almost died) are in collection because I have used all my energy trying to stop this country from slaughtering innocent human beings.”)

9. Americans are stupid and vapid and don’t care. (“Casey died for a country which cares more about who will be the next American Idol than how many people will be killed in the next few months.”)

10. Everyone is jealous of me because I get all the attention. (“This group won’t work with that group; he won’t attend an event if she is going to be there; and why does Cindy Sheehan get all the attention anyway?”)

11. Everyone is doomed, so I’m getting out while I can. (“Our brave young men and women in Iraq have been abandoned there indefinitely by their cowardly leaders who move them around like pawns on a chessboard of destruction and the people of Iraq have been doomed to death and fates worse than death …I am going to take whatever I have left and go home.”)

12. I need money. (“Camp Casey has served its purpose. It’s for sale. Anyone want to buy five beautiful acres in Crawford , Texas ? I will consider any reasonable offer.”)

cindyhugo.jpg

Cindy still obviously suffering with grief, with her bud, the fascist dictator Hugo Chavez. Hey! maybe he can give her a job with his new state-run TV channel ” All Hugo All the Time.”

And lastly…

13. America is evil. (“Good-bye America …you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice…”)

But no, she’s not, not an attention whore, and it’s never been all about her. Which is why she uses the personal pronouns “I” and “me” no less than 59 times in her little blog post. Her one ‘moment of clarity’ seems to exhibit itself in her choice of title for this regurgitation.

So yes, good riddance. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Heck, we could hope she turns to wrestling, or the Ultimate Fighter Championships. With our luck, she’ll return like a bad penny on The Biggest Loser (to shed the 100 pounds she gains after losing all that attention), or, with her money problems, she could take over for Gary Coleman on those “Cash Call” commercials.

Ultimately, she could take a page from the late Dana Plato and try to hold up a dry cleaner in Vegas. If she wore a Jimmy Carter mask, she might actually get away with it.

Stay away from my nuts!

14> I’ve spent all of Casey’s money, and now they have no more use for me.

Now, when she says good-bye to America, that means she’s leaving for the “sunnier pastures” of a “glorious workers paradise” of her choosing, right?

Hope she likes Cuba…unless she says the wrong thing and “Papa Fidel” has her thrown in jail, or Venezuela, where her best buddy Hugo Chavez is actually having protesters shot.

My guess is, she’ll do what scum-bags like her usually do: stay right here, safe and sound in America, continuing to hate and loathe the very system and people who provide that safety and freedom from tyranny that they themselves are so selfish as to deny others.

Good-bye, Cindy. Our country is a poorer place for having known you.

    Tammy,

Again, you are right on the money. What never fails to amaze me is the “victimization” that is so apparent in her whole persona and the far left as a whole. But somehow, every “fan” of hers calls her “courageous” and “tough”, while she waxes on with an unending sob marathon.

I tell you who is courageous…it is the citizen who, even if they do not completely agree with the President’s policies or his administration’s, but understands the bigger picture of the enemy who wants to kill us and our way of life, (our very civilization) joins the fight against them shoulder-to-shoulder.

I know that Sheehan’s and the far left’s talking points are identical to our enemies viewpoint and that their goals are the VERY same, i.e. kill Bush, get out of Iraq, etc. And that reason alone is enough for me to dismiss anything that they say.

They aid and abet the enemy and mask such in faux 60’s “dissent” patriotism.

Or, maybe they care more about your son and the other soldiers than you, silly woman. (Your translations are right on, Tammy!)

Well, now! Much as Hither and Stalin eventually went for each other’s throats, Mother Sheehan and the Democrat Party have turned on each other.

Meanwhile, where is the MSM? Nowhere to be found! My local “newspaper” considered Mother Sheehan to be something of a pin up (O.K.: How many of you blew chunks at the computer screen when you read that last line?). Cindy’s mug appeared on their pages more often that Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. But since Mother Sheehan started to bite the leash that holds her, she vanished faster from the MSM’s political radar than Anita Hill did during the pants-down presidency of the Clinton Regime.

But don’t worry, Cindy – perhaps David Duke still believes in you!

Hey, wait a second, we don’t want Cindy back in Vacaville! Can’t Berkley or somewhere else take her?

First Rosie..now Cindy? Cut and Run-itis is running rampant through the liberal ranks!!!

Great analysis Tammy! You tickled the funny bones over at Pajamas Media. They’re linking to it.

I guess I will upset other commenters by suggesting that conservatives should reach out, patiently, to this woman now that she sees what the Left really is, and to help her see that there is another way to understand reality (the conservative view) and to do this we must show here not hate, but love and compassion. We win by converting one liberal at a time by showing them another way to understand the world. I voluteer to start by writing her and reaching out. perhaps if more of you….?

  12. ashleymatt says:

Can you sue media outlets for exploitation of a mentally ill individual? If I were Sheehan’s family, that’s what I would do. The woman is a danger to herself, and that’s no joke. We should have never even known her name because she should have been Baker Acted years ago. Instead CNNMSNBCABCNBCBSBSBSBSBS turned this pitifully sick woman into an “anti-war leader.” Next, they’ll stick a microphone in front of someone with Down’s syndrome. What vermin they are.

Frankly, I really hoped her candidacy would have created some “buzz” around the issues that were peripheral to the Nancy Pelosi administration of the House of Reps.

The Dems certainly saw that and immediately banned her from posting to her former blog spot on the Kos.

Anyone see coverage of Pat Buchanan’s new book?

Day of Reckoning? Heard him on Fox News and MSNBC; it’s quite a message to all of us who are trying to beat the heck out of our political opponents; it’d be great if for once our “idea” challenged POTUS could/would read the book and hire someone like Buchanan to do voice overs and speeches for him.

Unfortunately, it’s more than can be resonably expected from this White House at this time.

All that went away a long time ago. I had hoped that Tony Snow was ushering in a new era, but they had him so muzzled and on message; well, just look at the immigration message that Karl Rove and company created for the 2006 mid-terms.

Would it be too much to hope that this White House could do a John McCain meaculpa concerning immigration, i.e., “I got it” speech?

Maybe some of Tammy’s White House friends will listen up to more of her broadcasts; rather than just Rush Limbaugh telling everyone that the President is OK, because he’s not.

I’m surprised that Condoleezza Rice didn’t force Israel to capitulate on the right of return issue for the mideast conference or demand elections for Democracy in Pakistan just like she did in Egypt where the Muslim Brotherhood won big a couple of years ago; or like Gaza is now after the post Arafat era.

That said, I’ve never seen a State Department that was more plagued with bad fortune; the leaders die or are disabled (Arafat, Sharon) and have incapable leaders (Rice, Olmert, Bush)…

Shake my head, I never thought that it could be worse than Albright and her team; it just makes you wonder, and pray.
