But Bloomberg’s NY was considering it. The fact that this medieval tyrant who is facilitating the murder of our soldiers is even allowed to step foot into this country at all is an affront. Now, we’re supposed to be grateful that at least he’s not allowed to defile the WTC site? Small favors indeed.

New York Police Deny Ahmadinejad Request to Visit Ground Zero

The New York Police Department rejected a request by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to visit the lower Manhattan site where al Qaeda terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

Ahmadinejad, who plans to be in New York City next week to address the United Nations General Assembly, made the request to visit Ground Zero earlier this month, Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne said in an e-mailed statement.

Browne said police department officials decided to deny the visit after a meeting with representatives of the U.S. Secret Service and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which owns the site.

“The site is closed to visitors because of construction there,” Browne said in the statement. “Requests for the Iranian president to visit the immediate area would also be opposed by the NYPD on security grounds.”

  1. Instead, Mr. Ahmedinejad, would you care to take a walk through Brooklyn or through Queens? Meet some of the locals there?

if that genocidal lunatic dares visit Ground Zero, I hope and pray that some patriotic New Yorker arranges a meeting with 72 virgins for ahmadinejad.

The 11 o’clock news tonight reported that Ahmadinejad asked to visit the site so he could lay a wreath and pay his respects. I have a queasy feeling that he’s secretly interested in inspecting the handiwork of his henchmen. BTW, has anyone seen Obsession, the movie? Frightening.

  4. ltlme says:

I suppose, unlike the holocaust, he actually recognizes what happened on 9/11. I imagine that had he been allowed to tour Ground Zero, he would have pulled some sort of asinine stunt. It’s a shame that he’s allowed to land in the U.S. in the first place.

I want to know why that fool is even allowed in this country. I don’t want to hear, “He is going to the UN and we have done it before for Castro..blah blah blah..” Enough already. Either that or handcuff his behind the minute he gets off the plane. Did anyone catch this lovely phrase from the WH?

White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said a visit to ground zero “is a matter for the city of New York, but it seems more than odd that the president of a country that is a state sponsor of terror would visit ground zero.”

Well at least they got one thing right. Now let us continue on that logical thread, shall we Administration. I hear France even getting ready, are we?

  6. Gary Rosen says:

The only justification for letting him in the country would be if on arrival we arrested him as an “enemy combatant” – which he damn well is – and gave him a one-way ticket to Gitmo.

  7. jdb says:

We are arguing about whether or not he should be allowed to visit Ground Zero? It’s ok for him to be in the country—-or still in this world?

  8. bnkpet says:

No need for nuclear weapons when he’s given opportunities like this. He will just sit in the back of his sedan riding around Manhattan picking his next target. HE will have the ultimate choice. HE will derive great personal pleasure in activating the cell when he goes back to Iran. That will be the ultimate experience for him. Tammy, I’ve decided I can do the Secretary of State’s job, and I’m pretty sure I can do the CIA director’s job at this point too. Please fire both of them forthwith.

We have an administration that has given the greenlight on visas to those who publicly support our demise, who wish to eliminate Western Civilization as we know it and destroy the nation of Israel. We allow this Spawn of Hitler to emerge on our soil so he can behave at the UN much the same way many celebrities behaved at the Emmys this past week. We have a government wanting to be ‘good’ to our enemies in hopes they will have a miraculous moment of clarity someday and maybe like us, really, really like us!

All this ‘playing nice’ has done nothing but bring us to a point in time where Hitler Jr. feels emboldened enough to even ask to visit Ground Zero. What a complete insult to every man, woman and child slaughtered on 9/11, and to our brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives because of this f**k and the various terror networks we war with now.

Because this administration has not put the teeth behind it’s bark, the Iranian nutjob has no qualms coming here, asking for a tour and is even threatening to go to the WTC area despite being denied access according to at least one source on Drudge this morning. Why shouldn’t Hitler Jr. dismiss the denial? Who or what is going to stop him? Michael Bloomberg? Dubya?

Having this jerk here is a huge statement to the world that The United States of America cannot (more like – is not willing to) do a thing to stop him!

I have gotten to the point where I am angry at my own country for being such wimps!!!! This is true anger and utter disgust I am feeling. And it hurts me. Bad.

WHO autorized this?!! And let’s find out so we can hold them responsible.

Artgal, you have it exactly right! This sends a message to the rest of the world that the once strong and mighty U.S.A. has gone the way of Europe with it’s appeasement and cowardly behavior.

There is nothing more I can say… I am just….ugh!!!!

There had better be thousands of Americans lining the streets of Lower Manhatten the day it tries to violate Ground Zero, and they’d better be holding a shoe in one hand and a side of pork in the other.

There had better be a run in the NYC grocery stores on ham, pork chops, lard, pickled pig’s feet and blood sausage to throw at this bestial enemy of America as he dares trespass on our nation.

Imagine working in one of the NYC skyscrapers that is still standing and looking out your window to see this demon standing on the sidewalk below. If I lived in New York, I would be honored to be arrested for throwing pig’s blood at this thing who wants me stoned to death in a burka.

The person who snuffs out this monster will be an American hero and will be drafted to run for President.

    Manhattan, pardon the keyboard rage

And any American Secret Service agent who agrees to protect this monkey should be jailed for sedition.

  13. SKMA says:

What a sad commentary on what years of political correctness have done to our America. How is it possible that this terrorist who wants nothing more than the destruction of our way of life could be allowed on our soil?? Talk about WRONG!

  14. N_Campbell says:

For all his faults, Governor Romney had one really good point. Why don’t we arrest his posterior under the genocide conventions? After all, incitement to genocide is a crime under the conventions.

There is a country that has a per capita public debt of 122% of its GDP and could use some help. Some real help. My suggestion: Transfer the General Assembly and Security Council, together with all their appurtenant offices and organizations, along with all other UN organizations now in the US to the Seychelle Islands. The benefit to the Syechelles in increased tourism, five-star restaurants, and luxury housing with all the new jobs supporting those enterprises and requirements demanded by the UN nabobs will be tremendous. The benefit to New York and the United States will be incalculable. Just one side benefit would be the elimination of a hidey hole for foreign spies and native traitors to run to to avoid their comeuppance.
