Fortunately, this whole sordid event just may be this beautiful young woman‘s ticket out of the life-ruining scourge of prostitution. I betcha there’s a book deal in her future.

it is starting to lok like silda’s ambitions may be the reason she’s being the “good wife.” she sought counsel from hillary and may be replaying that sordid little soap opera

  2. Wanda says:

Kristen is not a “prostitute”; would you call Ronald Reagan a “politico”? She has made a shrewd decision to maximize income potential out of the desire she elicits in males. Would you think better of her if she believed the lies men tell us in order to have sex? “I love you madly! Let me vigorously deposit my genetic material in you!” Ha. Spitzer is a type of typical male, otherwise known as a D-WAW (D**K With A Wallet). However high the public position they may hold, in private that’s all they ever are.

  3. dazedgonebye says:

Well, she has obvious “talent,” but $1k an hour? Maybe I’m just not doing it right.

Even considering the pimp’s cut, she must be making serious money. I wonder if she wants out?

  4. hjo says:

I’m getting the idea Silda may not be the quiet, reserved housewife she’s being made out to be…power corrupts?
As far as Kristen goes, she’s nice looking, now I don’t buy sex, but if I did she wouldn’t be #1 on my hit parade, especially for that kind of money.

  5. ashleymatt says:

I wonder how much I’d be worth.

  6. Ann says:

While Kristen is beautiful, she couldn’t hold a candle to that woman on O’Reilly last night after the Talking Points memo.

  7. Ripper says:

Kristen according to the New York Times is Ashley Youmans aka Ashley Alexandra Dupre aka “Kristen.”
    She is from New Jersey.

  8. ltlme says:

So…she comes with “refinements”. I wonder just what sort of “refinements” a man appreciates….then again, perhaps I don’t wanna know.

I got divorced by a Jersey girl and found a much better one in Ohio. Maybe it’s the corn.

“Prostitution is a victimless crime…” Nora Ephron, screenwriter.

Speaking no doubt for many many of her liberals Holywood chums.

    Sure Nora.

BIO… married three times…. second was journalist Carl Bernstein of Watergate fame in 1976. Ephron had an infant son, Jacob, and was pregnant with her second son, Max, in 1980 when she found out the news of Bernstein’s affair with their mutual friend, married British politician Margaret Jay. She delivered Max prematurely as a result.

Maybe if she had 2 daughters she wouldn’t be so cavalier about women selling their bodies for money.

And isn’t it weird that news of HER husbands infidelity caused her so much emotional distress, he baby was born early.

Sure Nora… no victims here . Let’s all move on.

I have to agree with SARAH that this is a pretty revolting image to have to look at of a girl who was a teenage runaway from God-knows-what and is now most likely a drug addict or alcoholic. I’m sure there are 3 ways out of prostitution: prison, suicide, or overdose.

My “I wonder how much I’d be worth” comment was a rhetorical statement on how ridiculous it is to assign cash value to a person’s body. There is no beauty in that for poor Kristen.

  13. infidel says:

I have no problem with the site posting the photo………doesn’t make it any less classy. Wanna bet she’ll be on Howard Stern or making the book deal soon? She’s not an anonymous woman accusing the former governor of rape and I don’t see any handcuffs in that photo indicating she was forced to pose. This is a huge story and she’s a big part of it. I hope I’m wrong about her future but we’ve seen all this before.
Celebrity doesn’t seem to have a moral compass anymore anyway…..I don’t expect anything more from a pig but a grunt.

  14. Young American says:

So are we suppose to give this ‘ poor girl ‘ a pass because she left home at 17 and was abused ? How many thousands of young woman are in the same boat but rise above and make a living by not choosing to become a whore but by working their tails off in an honest and legal profession be it a waitress , fast food worker , retail worker and in the meantime putting themselves through school to get that degree that will get them higher paying job ?
These honest hard working girls may not be able to afford eating out in fancy five star restaurants in silky dresses and high heels but they can go home and sleep at night with a clear conscience that they were not breaking the law , working in a profession that has ties to and contributes money to the drug world and international terrorism among other vile things.
The pimps , the whores and the clients are all of the same cloth. They all should be held accountable for their part in these prostitution rings and prosecuted . They are all criminals taking part in illegal activity . No one deserves to get off the hook because of their back round or their status. Free choices were made , let them all be accountable for their actions.

You’re right Talkin Horse, “The affairs of state must take precedent over the affairs of state” LOL!!!!!!!

  16. artgal says:

Young American: You have a lot to learn!

A 17-year-old who runs away, is abused and has no skills is often left without an alternative other than to sell her body especially when she is scared, being threatened, and has no home or help. The pattern is set by those who abused her in the first place, and that is the story of so many women (young and old) left to the streets. It is wonderful that so many young women do find ways to succeed that do not include prostitution, dealing or anything illegal or immoral. But when a young girl doesn’t feel she is of any worth, she is not going to make good decisions.

I recall there was a man who met a woman at a well. He did not look at her with a holier-than-thou judgement nor did he call her a whore. He looked at her with compassion and gave her the hope and strength she was not expecting to gain in this life. He didn’t take advantage of her – he simply showed her kindness and unconditional love. Why isn’t there anyone willing to follow the lead of Jesus when they encounter the Mary’s of the world?

  17. Young American says:

    Artgal,
With all due respect I must hold my position . I see what you are saying but there are many choices scared , threatened young people can do to support themselves other than selling their body. I don’t believe just because she is a victim of circumstance that she must follow a path of destruction , keeping the vicious cycle going because thats what she’s used to.
All that get caught up in these prostitution rings know they are breaking the law . I’m saying they are not immune to paying the price for their involvement in illegal activity . What message would that send , you may break the law and get away with it ? Some crimes come without punishment ? Jail may just save their life , getting them off the streets before they are murdered by some whacko or ending up in this horrid ‘ profession ‘ for years on end abusing drugs and alcohol and ultimately committing suicide .
Shame on those that steer these young women in that direction. They will answer to God . Just as we all will when that time comes. I am not judging this woman , I am simply saying she must be accountable for her actions and choosing to get involved in something illegal that is against the law.
I am very aware in Gods love for the sinner and his mercy for us all, no matter who we are. Jesus came to save us sinners , not tell us that we are all going to hell. As with the adulteress he did not condemn her , but showed her forgiveness . Mary Magdalen was a notorious sinner but was forgiven and became his ‘ best disciple ‘ following him all the way to the cross.
I am not judging this prostitute , God knows I have no business judging anyone, nor would I want to. I’m just saying this girl needs to be accountable for her actions , choices she made by her own free will , knowing there would be a price to pay when she got caught. Like I said in my previous post , flipping burgers would not have made her the money to wear the silk and satin and heels but it would have brought in an income. And I’m sure she knew that was an option.

  18. jdb says:

I’d say Silda took the salaried position and Krista took the hourly job. Neither one of them deserve too much handwringing or concern. We have bigger fish to fry and threats from both parties and external enemies. We really need to focus.

  19. artgal says:

I am going to comment further on my earlier remarks to Young American as it is worth addressing.

One would be hard-presssed to find a burger-flipping joint that will hire a child of 10, 11, 12, 13 – the ages when many runaway children wind up getting involved in prostitution. And for a child of 17 who leaves home, there is little chance of having shelter and groceries solely on a job at a burger joint.

Prostitution has nothing to do with wearing silk dresses or dining in the finest restaurants. It has everything to do with paying for shelter, being able to eat and sometimes having to support a child of their own or a younger sibling in the only manner so many of these young people feel they have any worth. It is also an abuse cycle they are familiar with — the violation of their own bodies. Unfortunately, most prostitutes also abuse druges so they can go through with their ‘services’ and to diminish the pain in their souls.

Certainly, there needs to be accountability, but the one I don’t mind calling a true criminal and whore in all this is Spitzer himself! He contributed vast sums of money to the ring even while prosecuting others for engaging in exactly what he was doing. There is your true criminal – the hypocritical piece of s**t donning his silk ties, tailored suits, polished shoes and dining among the elites. He’s no different than the pimps, and he is truly grotesque. He used his position as governor to put himself above the law and continued the abusive cycle of a 22-year-old who is deserving of our concern and compassion. In fact, Spitzer is on equal footing with every single lowlife that has hurt this 22-year-old young woman and every woman who has been driven to such desperate measures. Spitzer is just another brick in the wall.

YA: I agree with you about being accountable for our actions. I never said ‘Kristen’ – or any of us – were above such. In fact, Spitzer ‘said’ that he was above the law. But I do know there are women in desperate situations as a result of the lowlife who leaves a pregnant girlfriend or his family, the failure of a mother to intervene on behalf of her children, the scum who beats the women in his life, or the beast who hurts a little girl and leaves her feeling so lost inside all she can do is run away. She usually will not run to a shelther because she will have to be reported, and for so many young people the thought of going back home is unbearable. In fact, it’s more tolerable (in their own minds) to be used by strangers than to be betrayed by those who say they love you and are suppose to protect you. Thus, begins the absence and loss of free will, and enters the prison of the mind and body.

I truly hope and pray that now will be ‘Kristen’s opportunity to break free from the repetitive cycle of self-destruction and realize her own power and worth as a human being.

  20. Young American says:

One more comment from me also . Artgal , we agree to disagree about certain aspects of this sad situation . I respect what you have to say. I know there are a few that we are definitely in agreement on , and that’s that Spitzer is a low life pond scum whore .
Secondly , I hope and pray for ‘ Kristen ‘ and all in her situation that they find a way out of the cesspool of slavery that they are in and find peace and happiness. No one can possibly be happy and at peace with themselves making their living as a prostitute.
If there were no demand there would be no supply . Shame on pigs like Spitzer who treat women like dishrags . What an example he has set for his daughters , the truly innocent victims of this madness.
