No, I’m not speaking specifically of Barry himself, but of an actual sammich. The liberal disrespect for money, no business sense, and a general lack of financial understand (this is what happens when you’re always spending someone else’s money, btw) didn’t end with the financially obscene Obama/Clinton half-a-billion dollars primary fiasco. No, it continues…in the form of what an Indiana Herald Times reporter paid to spend the day with The Messiah.

Invoice from Obama coverage another view of campaign

The bus had begun the morning in Indianapolis and continued on to Terre Haute for an evening event. Last week, we got a bill from the Obama campaign, which we expected. We didn’t want or expect a free ride or free food.

The details of the invoice were surprising, however.

Meals: $115.62.

Bus: $226.17.

Supplies: $5.54.

Files: $91.41.

Invoice total: $438.74.

In regard to meals: Boyd essentially was billed $115.62 for a cup of soup and a turkey sandwich, because the campaign bills only for the day — not a la carte. He wasn’t in Indianapolis for the full breakfast buffet, or in Terre Haute for the dinner options that included grilled salmon, baked chicken with honey glaze, beef, steamed vegetables, Greek salad, oven roasted potato, rolls and butter, water, soft drinks and coffee.

Too bad we didn’t send a hungry surrogate to breakfast and dinner, since we were paying for the meals.

Yes, indeedy. And that’s what The Messiah plans for all of America–very few people paying all the taxes, with most everyone else consuming them. Marx would be proud.

  1. Ruth Anne says:

I think it’s a hoot that they bill everything in odd amounts, as if to communicate precision, when it seems like their billing is anything but precise.

Riding on the bus with Barack: Priceless.

I have this horrible nightmare of waking up on Nov. 5 and finding out that we elected our first Marxist President who gleefully announces that Zbigniew Breszinski will be his Sec. of State.

  3. Certainly goes with the Obama campaign slogan:
Keep that change, we will be wanting that too
