Obama Arrives in Afghanistan to Tour War Zone

Barack Obama began his campaign-season tour of two war zones Saturday by meeting with U.S. forces stationed in Kuwait and Afghanistan, where Obama says more military resources must be devoted.

The presumptive Democratic nominee arrived in Kabul early Saturday as part of an official, taxpayer-funded congressional delegation. It was his first-ever visit to Afghanistan.

Details out of the war zone are sparse, but officials say Obama visited troops at an airfield in Jalalabad, in the eastern part of the country. He heads next to Iraq…

Obama told a pair of reporters who accompanied him to his departure from Andrews Air Force Base on Thursday that, “I look forward to seeing what the situation on the ground is.

“I want to, obviously, talk to the commanders and get a sense both in Afghanistan and in Baghdad of, you know, what the most, their biggest concerns are, and I want to thank our troops for the heroic work that they’ve been doing,” he said.

Yeah, well, Barry, they’ve been there for seven years. You’ve been in the Senate for a few. You’re just a tad late, but it’s perfect timing for an opportunistic Malignant Narcissist.

Funny how BO states more military resources need to be devoted to Kuwait and Afghanistan when he said on the video you posted recently that our defense capabilities need to be greatly reduced and even halted.

Interesting, too, is that he ‘thanks’ the troops for the heroic work they have been doing; yet, he would have never sent them to do that heroic work in the first place. He claims to be the only candidate who has been against the war from the beginning – but he was not in office to vote one way or the other. So we really don’t know how he would have voted.

I guess the state of ‘change’ he promotes is that which rests on his mood or state of being at any given time.

Obama going to Afghanistan, Jane Fonda going to Vietnam. Lets wake up here and see that the important question is not his level of concern over the issue of the war on terror (or any leading Democrat’s focus on us vs. any of our enemies) but rather what is the outcome desired by the man. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE ENEMY FOLKS.
If elected and put back in full power, these people will not be able to put our worst enemies back in power ASAP.

Rather they will not be able to put our enemies back in power fast enough.
