Cindy McCain at IndyCar Race in Nashville

They don’t provide an embed option so I’ll direct you to the CNN site for an interview with Cindy from yesterday at the Nashville Speedway. I’m impressed, and her presence makes it a hell of a lot easier to vote or her husband.

The clearest difference between the two men running for president is illustrated by their wives. Michelle Obama is bitter, resentful and see Americans as victims and oppressors. Her recent effort at personality remodeling didn’t quite work. Once you’ve revealed that you have never been proud of this nation and think it ‘mean’ going on “The View” a million more times isn’t going to change that reality.

Cindy McCain, on the other hand, doesn’t need to try to convince people that she’s something she’s not. She’s direct about her attitudes and love for this country. Her personal approach in interviews is open and honest. We may not always agree with her and her husband, but the woman isn’t bs’ing us at every turn, and has the class and grace missing from her Democrat counterpart.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Cindy’s public profile has increased since the McCain staff shakeup a week ago. Putting her in front is a smart move and reminds us of the stark differences between both couples.

See the look Cindy was giving that hack when she brought up the divorce?

I hope it’s not impermissible to note that Mrs. McCain is sporting a new hairdo. It’s fetching.

  3. Word-Drum says:

I think the whole package is fetching.
All Senator McCain has to do is stay alive to win. Obi is not ready for prime time. Some of us won’t stop uncovering the unholy Obamanation.

It is interesting that Cindy McCain’s profile has not been scrutitized in the MSM anywhere near to the degree that Michelle Obama has. Looking at Wiki about Cindy, she is not the overall shining beacon that many on the right want to portray her as. Michelle Obama has her faults, sure, but Cindy is no perfect angel either. It will be interesting if Cindy gets a closer look by the American public as we get closer to the election.

I’ll be the first to say that wives should be irrelevant to the election, but as we recently learned with Hillary, one never knows for sure. I agree we are not voting for the wives and families, or we shouldn’t be. The GOP should be wise to avoid their temptation to attack Michelle Obama with this at heart.

  5. Word-Drum says:

Sorry WK, I don’t agree. The Dems have offered some dozies when it comes to wives. Terrace Heintz Kerry was even more off putting than her husband from Viet Nam.
Michelle Obama only gets scrutiny here at this website and other bastions of freedom. Going on The Zoo(View) doesn’t count. Nor does Wiki since any jerk can write on it.
Process this: she is a Marxist like her husband and their spiritual advisor. That’s not a church they belong to, it’s more like a mosque. Wright was a Muslim, as was Obama and whatever they are,I don’t like any of them. They don’t belong in the White House.

What a lovely, genuine, down-to-earth way Cindy McCain has. STARK(!!!) contrast with Michelle Obama.

“The government’s not the answer to everything.” Words that more than likely have never crossed the lips of Michelle Obama.

I think she will have an increasing roll in keeping Juan afloat leading up to the election. Tremendous asset and class act all the way.

    Tammy ,
I just heard you mention on your show that we need to focus on the positives of John McCain . Agreed . We need the optimistic attitude in kicking B.Hussein Obamas ass this fall. I think Cindy is a certainly a positive for John . I’m sure the left are going nuts trying to dig up anything negative about Cindy , they’re not finding anything .
And W.K. , Michelle is fair game for the GOP if they can grow a pair and go after her. As long as she continues to open up that disgusting Anti-American mouth of hers spewing her Rev. Wright hatred , she needs to be exposed and held accountable for what she says on the B.Hussein campaign trail.

good looking women and fast cars are always pretty damn hot. if she would hoist up a a wrench in one hand and a beer in another at NASCAR…. oh yes!… they can start picking out new white house china.

many many MANY of my friends are ultra liberal and generally horrified by me. i had assumed most of them would jump right on the Obamarama bus but lately, especially, i have heard them all complaining (could it be) about the Mess-iah. and they refuse to vote for him now and they won’t vote for McCain, of course. they would have all voted for the Hillary . shock and awe. and it’s not because of racism or Hussein. it’s because of his slimy flip floppery and the fact that he’ll say just about anything.

so now they’re all concentrating on coming up with a fanciful assortment of write- in candidates while brooding and whining about the fact that in this state-Ma-their votes ‘ won’t count”. yeah, well boo hoo -i’ve been saying that for years-enjoy! the democratic party has managed to completely alienate staunch democrats in one of it’s bluest of blue zombie states .

    Response to Word-Drum

I’ll tell you what, if you can tell me you know Michelle Obama directly to be able to make those kinds of statements with credibility, I’ll listen more. Otherwise, I’ll just chalk you up as another that goes along with the groupthink about her based on some footage that can easily be misunderstood or misinterpreted.

    And to Young American

If you think that hitting Michelle Obama is the right thing to do for the GOP, have at it. This is the same style campaigning of fear and anger that the GOP has adopted the last couple of times (along with the Dems as well). It may work, it may not. This time however, I won’t subscribe to it or support it with my vote (unlike last time).

It’s pretty apparent to me that neither of you bothered to grasp the point I was attempting to make and only adopted a partisan stance. That is what angers me about this country right now, the tendency to stereotype things with little or no information for the basis to do so. The world largely sees the USA population as racist as well, after the examples of the Dem West Virginia and Kentucky primaries along with some other places, I’m grudgingly having to agree. When Obama gets 83% support with blacks and 31% with whites (from a recent survey I don’t recall which), this country is not the United States but an assemebly of many racists in many places. We have broken into red and blue state camps also, and frankly I’m also surprised we have not had political violence by now considering the sorry state of the economy.
