I’ll be on tonight, along with Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune, discussing tonight’s segment of Bill’s B. Hussein Obama interview. I’m not exactly sure of the time, but it should be right after that part of the interview airs. If/when I get more of a specific hit time I’ll let you know. Tonight Bill asks Barry about his rather odd collection of friends–people like Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. You know, the usual gang of terrorists, malcontents and America-haters.

Oh, and I’ll be wearing my glasses in honor of Sarahcuda tonight 🙂

Hope you can tune in.

UPDATE:

Well, the taping is all done. All I can say is Barry tried to diminish the role and impact terrorists and malcontents have in his life. After the interview, it was Clarence Page, myself and Bill discussing the segment. Bill spoke mostly with Clarence, but truly, the segment of Obama twisting and turning trying to explain away his associations with terrorists was remarkable. Clarence also simply tried to dismiss the history of the people associated with Obama as though it were no big deal.

I make a couple of points which I think were worthwhile. This segment should be at the top of the show right after Talking Points and then the B. Hussein interview.

Hair up! I’ll still be able to take you seriously. I promise.

Ooooooh, I’m watching Fox right now! I just heard the Mr. not so reverent Wright did a wrong with a woman. Of course, broadcasting just broke off for commercial and will explain in a minute.

I can’t figure out why public figures don’t remember there are copious amounts of people digging into their backgrounds.

If you’ve got something to hide, keep a low profile, PEOPLE! lol

As a certified pseudointellectual, I really am bowled over by that sexy librarian look.

You got the last word Tammy – awesome
    cool shades btw
and your argument re: Obama’s penchant
for takin input – homogenizing it and spewin
back what he thinks people want to hear
    was spot on
I want a President/VP who is not going to hedge or
    parse his/her words.

I have always appreciated Clarences opinion, but
he is nothing but a Chi Town homer, would have been refreshing if he was a little more honest

  5. DogOnCrack says:

Tammy, Bill didn’t let you speak enough.
Clarence seemed to blather on forever.

    Tammy,
Great job on O’Reilly tonight(9-9-08), and the glasses look fabulous! Keep on holding liberals accountable!

    Go Tammy!
Your final comment on O’Reilly tonight was dead-on. Thank you for saying it on the air. I really like your show and your no nonsense delivery. Go Girl!
Since William Ayres is an upstanding Chicago education reformer–I now know what is wrong with our public education system.

i’ve been lurking awhile but i thought i’d chime in after your o’reilly segment.
your points, tammy, were spot on. after watching barry hem and haw about his associations, the irony of barry’s latest campaign riff about mccain was precious. he says mccain doesn’t get it. barry doesn’t get it that a public history of hanging around bad guys is just not going to inspire confidence.
i have a couple of other opinions on media elitism and east coast bias, but i’ll save them for another day.
oh, and i do like the glasses look! nice.

Clarence, amusingly, wasn’t filibustering — he just couldn’t get his points to come out of his mouth coherently. Meanwhile your succinct and strong points didn’t even need that much time. Was excellent, Tammy, ESP. the last word — my family practically cheered! lol

But OReilly’s behavior was nothing new — he frequently talks to the men noticeably more. Last night was exactly the same thing. I forgot her name, but she just kinda sat there while the boys had a conversation. Fortunately she too was able to utilize her brief time very well.

I am very upset about this interview series, period. He is making Barry appear as a reasonable, knowledgable, sympathetic person. He prefaced the segment by saying he has “a new respect” for Obama. And even I find myself sitting there feeling impressed, reminding myself constantly of what I know to be the truth about him. But there are plenty of people who DON’T know what we know, and they are vulnerable to this appearance. Even when OReilly starts to pin him on something, he backs off and they chuckle together like old friends.

With this collegial attitude, I fear he could do a fair amount of damage to what people finally were coming to believe about Obama. He’s practically giving Obama a platform. J

To sum up Tammy on O’Reilly, “Effective and substantive rhetorical delivery with an awesome smile.”

    All the best,

    Chuck

Your appearance makes me so proud I’m in the Tammy Brigade, or maybe just a Tammy Peep. You did fine, and so cool and hot….good job.

  12. syd says:

You got shafted on time, but you made the absolute most of it. Great job.

    Oh, and you looked fabulous!!

It was commentators-with-glasses tonight [and you won!]

It’s very obvious that you’re listening along and your comments are really crisp. I would be very interested in seeing a blogpost of all the behind-the-scenes stuff [I know you’re in a studio with only an audio feed], but how are you invited, prepped, guided through it all? Do you get compensated at all for the work? How did you first get started on the FoxNews channel? Did it start with one contact and mushroom from there, or were you hired by the network and able to be used by all the shows?

I still get fascinated by the whole sausage-factory aspect of broadcast news.

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy! I have been waiting as a ten year old child for Christmas, for just one person to point out Obama’s argument that the crimes committed by William Ayres has a shelf life. As it is accepted that Ayres is guilty and only not convicted due to one of those technical errors by the police, Obama’s statements can mean only, if a certain number of years pass, one need no longer judge them harshly for murder. I loved your word, “specious”, characterizing his argument. I mean really, Barry, how many years, exactly, must pass before one is automatically absolved of the ignominious crime of wiping out an innocent life in the name of revolution?

You are a pistol Tammy. Thank you.
btw……you are the first and ONLY person I have heard present that oh so obvious argument.

  15. marleed says:

I caught the replay of O’Reilly. First airing I got so caught up in the Obama/Biden lipstick fetish that I missed it. . . First thing I noted, Clarence was doing the Teaberry Shuffle, dancing around the facts, redefining words, hoping he could make William Ayers look like Ward Cleaver. You weren’t buying it! Your responses were well thought out, to the point, and logical. Excellent!

  16. Tammy,

I watched O Reilly tonight, and I think you were just absolutely terrific…! When you made your final comment; “I believe saying that someone who bombed public buildings forty years ago makes it irrelevant today is ridiculous. The Democrats are out of touch believing that Americans will except these associations, that’s why they are going to lose another election” (I paraphrase) This was an extremely poignant statement… Great rebuttal to Mr. Page’s typical Leftist, apologist Viewpoints…

  17. seven says:

Glad Bill gave you the last word. Excellent as always.
Always happy to see you on Fox.

Why don’t you, Laura Ingraham, and Michelle Malkin create a show like the “The View”?

  18. JD says:

From the way I see it, if any Conservative hung out with someone who happened to be involved in firebombing, let’s say, abortion clinics(and killing a couple of people while doing so) they would not have a political future. And that would be because Conservatives would not allow such a person to represent us. In ANY way. We’d pretty much OJ them.

But the left will ALWAYS cover each other. That is why one should never trust them. What are their true motives? They sure aren’t to preserve or defend the US Constitution!!!

  19. bdiller says:

Tammy – just discovered you tonight on O’Reilly. You had the best closing line ever. SHARP – as if that stuff just goes away over time…my wife never saw you before either and she burst into laughter. We actually played it back again!

BO vs BHO interview got interesting when it focused on associations. Not that I heard anything new, but Barack’s answer to Ayers and the fact he was 8 years old at the time and therefore not accountable now (neither Ayers OR BHO accountable) made BHO look naive and immature. He lets Ayers off the hook as a good guy now, and furthermore accepts no personal responsibility for exercising any judgement in his associations, taking the page that if others accept Ayers and THEY are cool folks, then I can too. That’s not what I want out of a leader.

  20. brutepcm says:

I always said that chewing gum lowers the I.Q. ten points and wearing glasses adds twenty. When JFK was elected, men stopped wearing fedoras. I think Sarahcuda will do the same thing to contact lenses. Regarding Ayers- perhaps it’s time to pardon Charles Manson and let him teach. He has plenty of experience with molding young minds.

  21. OneShotWataw says:

As usual, you were right on point with your comments … too bad Bill didn’t let you “opine” very much …. and those glasses were over the top … if you’d had your hair “up”, I wouldn’t have been able to hold on to the remote! 😉

  22. jeweytunes says:

JD: EXCELLENT point with, “From the way I see it, if any Conservative hung out with someone who happened to be involved in firebombing, let’s say, abortion clinics(and killing a couple of people while doing so) they would not have a political future.”

I do disagree, though, that the only reason that’s the case is because we wouldn’t allow it. Clearly that person would be DESTROYED by the media and the thought police. They’d be thrilled to have such an easy target.

Nevertheless, it’s an excellent point and one I’m glad to put in my arsenal. Thanks. J

    Ms Bruce
The next time you have a chance to debate an Obama supporter on Ayers please ask the following questions.
    1. During his association with Ayers and before he began his run for the presidency did he ever tell him to his face that his acts were despicable and reprehensible?
    2. If he were not running for the presidency would he still be an associate with Ayers.

I agree with everyone else your closing line was on the money.

  24. Idiot#3 says:

Every time O’Reilly launches into his contrarian “to be fair” mode, I’m reminded that he’s a lawyer, and not in a good way.

Clarence Page’s, “uh-uh, uh, ah uh-uh” fill-every-nano-second with noise routine sounds a lot like Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, and yup, Barack Obama.

Tammy, looking like that librarian with the sultry voice who smells reeeeally good, was prepared, probably knowing up front that she’d get only 75 seconds out of 6 minutes to make her point. From the entire interview, the only lasting point was that Obama is covering up his 20 year associations with Wright and Ayers. Great Job, Tammy.
