Somehow, just like us and unlike so many others, she gets it that post-election Obama is the very same man as pre-election Obama: a friend of terrorists.

She is so right on. The more I see and listen to her, the more I like her. She doesn’t mince words, and at the same time, she keeps her optimism for the future. How refreshing is to see her without the influence of the campaign handlers!

  2. newzmom says:

Confidant, on point and personable..She’s got a few years to woo the middle and then perhaps she and…Bobby Jindal? The next national election cycle could be fun!

  3. HALEY says:

I love Sarah Palin. Always have. She’s so great.

And Tammy, I love your new kool aid logo – “Obama-cult free zone”. Ha! I love this website. It keeps me sane…and smiling in these tough times while keeping me informed since I pretty much ditched the MSM. The news is much better coming from here. I enjoy all the posts and I also enjoy reading the comments from all the great Americans also enjoying this website. I especially have been cracking up over the “Messiah (may he live forever)” lines in the comments. That’s a good one, whoever started that. Very funny.

I think that the McCain Campaign missed the main thrust of exactly what Obama’s association with Ayers was and why it mattered.

It’s the work on the Andenburg Challenge. It’s spending a hundred million dollars on Ayers’ pet educational projects. It’s the contents of Ayers’ book on education, and why Obama felt the need to blurb it.

The comment about “Palling around with terrorists” is hitting the frame of the target, not the target proper.

  5. GenRach says:

Love her or not, she speaks her mind and she sticks to what she believes in; I find it darned refreshing!! Sarah, keep grounded, and you will, I promise you go far..I like it.

Would the connection of Ayers made a difference in the outcome of the election; no. Obama was a freight train the GOP had no break for..and it came too little to late. However, I do believe that this will rear its head oh…in about a year..when the grand jury starts to meet and the Special Investigators are announced..

PS) Ayers is releasing his book again, Fugitive Days..so proud is he…bet it’s a NY Times Best Seller in ONE nanosecond..disgusting slimeball.

That’s a good woman there. She’s only gonna get better. Glad she’s on our side.

  7. NavajoSierra says:

I LOVE the Obama Cult Free Zone – Kool Aid Icon! It is perfect! Thank you thank you thank you!

  8. Sean H. says:

Now that she is away from the campaign handlers, her interviews and responses are more from the heart and less scripted. What we are seeing now is the real Sarah Palin.
I hope she stays as Governor and foregoes the Senate. She will get a much stronger resume.
She will actually be leading and making decisions that directly effect the citizens she is elected to represent.

  9. Colocelt says:

    YAY!!! I love Sarah P!

I am excited that there is a resurgence of conservative leaders and she is one of them!

  10. TERI148 says:

I SAW THAT INTERVIEW LAST NIGHT. I GOT A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN SHE SAID THAT. BECAUSE INSTINCTIVLY I FELT A SURGE OF BACKLASH COMING ON. I’M PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ARE MOVING TO HER WAY OF THINKING. OR AT LEAST ADMITTING IT NOW.

[Hi Teri, just a style request, please don’t post in all caps, that’s the equivalent of shouting. Thanks. Jim]

  11. OneShotWataw says:

McCain should have let her “out of the box” more during the campaign. Her straight talk certainly appeals to me and she articulates the issues much better. Who knows, if McCain had let her run loose, she may have pulled his sorry a** out of the fire.

  12. Ednamode says:

    Palin for President 2012!

  13. Ripper says:

Wolf Blitzer is such a Nancy-Boy I cannot stand him.

  14. getosama says:

obama- “a friend of terrorists”- exactly my thought on him.

  15. Lamplighter says:

From the heart and from the hip. Little Sureshot is always on the mark.

By the way, Teri148, Jim is right about not using all capitals letters in a blog. The exception, of course, is when quoting The Messiah (may he live forever), for his words are larger than life. (Winks at Haley)

  16. CarpeDiem says:

Blitzer has a heck of a lot of nerve trying to get her to say she’s sorry or that her words were too harsh after he participated in eviserating her – what a piece of work! I’ve never seen a person trashed as badly by the media as she was – they have no shame. Blitzer is utterly disgusting. Sarah looks so much freer now – not tied to McCain. Next election can’t come too soon.
