The House vote was 237-170. Michelle has a list of the 32 House Repubs who voted yes, as well as a list of the nays, including 20 Dems.
Now is the time to contact your Senators at 202-224–3121. There has been one Senator MIA on this issue who just got re-elected (with the help of Sarah Palin). Call Saxby Chambliss and tell him what you think of the bailout, and ask him where he stands–202-224-3521.

Oh Brother. While I appreciate Jim DeMint standing against the bailout, someone needs to give him a pill.
Bailouts are completely pointless.
Detroit will remain broke until they rid themselves of the union slime.
I live in GA and have been in contact with Chambliss during both auto bailout proposals. Both times I received an email reply that he is opposed.
A few minutes ago I spoke to a woman in his office who restated that Chambliss is opposed and will be voting against it. I told her we are expecting him to participate in any filibuster attempt. J
Saxby Part II: I just called again and spoke to someone else, whom I told the senator’s silence is getting some notice. I suggested the senator put some “muscle” behind his position (don’t go there!) and comment publicly today. He said he’ll pass it on to the senator. We’ll see…
I made contact with Virginia senators. Emailed Jim Webb (D-VA) http://webb.senate.gov/contact/ with the following message:
Please vote “NO” on the auto bailout. Let the courts allow this company to restructure itself to become the productive corporation it once was. The bailout helps no one except the UAW. As an aside – the idea of appointing a “Czar” to over see this industry is unacceptable. This is AMERICA, we do not appoint “Czars”.
Talked to John Warner’s (R-VA) representative (202) 224-2023 – very nice woman. She says that she is busy marking down vote requests and would add my name (actually zip code) to the “no” column. No email was available for Warner.
Awww Pete King, say it ain’t so! He’s one of the Repubs in the House I really admire, especially for his views on the War on Terror. How sad 🙁
