Liberals don’t pay taxes because they don’t like this country and don’t wabt to pay their fair share. It is the ultimate in entitlement thinking. It is also why they keep voting to raise taxes–so the rest of us can pick up their slack. Oh, I’ve also heard the Barkey Admin along with the senate is considering adding $1 billion more to the “stimulus” package so they can send each of us a little slice of cake in case we get hungry.

Daschle withdraws as nominee for HHS secretary

But Dascle isn’t Barkey’s only Chicago-style problem.

Official: Performance czar withdraws candidacy

Remember, only the little people pay taxes.

I must say that The Messiah’s first 15 days have not been very impressive.

I am concerned about the return of Samantha Power.

Isn’t it funny that the people that always talk the loudest about raising takes are the ones that seem to pay the least? Tch tch tch…

The first couple of weeks of the obama-nation have certainly been an eye opener regarding change – but not change we deserved or what we thought was promised. Gives a whole new menaning to the most ethical transparent administration ever – when it is convenient. How else could we have nominees like clinton, holder, geithner, and daschle – as well as others. At least the mounting view of the new administration wound up getting daschle thrown under the bus. Wonder if that is supposed to take the heat off and if any of the vegetables in congress will take thier eye off the ball now.

Doesn’t matter. Barack Hussein Obama is like the “Teflon Don”. Everything rolls off of him, from William Ayers and Rashid Khalidi, to a vetting process that forgives people like Holder and Clinton.

These liberal socialist types think everybody else should higher and higher taxes, yet they are the first to create a loop hole and launch themselves through it. Puff Daschle: Uhh it’s not relly income if I don’t put it down….right?

Barky is in the mea culpa mode, taking “full responsibility” for the Daschle business. People love this s__t! He has to have an achilles heel that is not made of teflon. I hope a few good people are out there trying to zoom in on it and trip him up. (Steele? Palin?) Likely a review of the pathology of narscissism will turn up an answer. How I would love to see him fall on his so over-exposed face!

  7. Shawmut says:

Doesn’t anyone remember Daschle’s pious declaration over a Bush innovation?
    “OUTRAGEOUS!”.
And he repeated, lest anyone in the Senate was having trouble with more than two syllables, “OUTRAGEOUS!”.

Daschle says he decided to withdraw his nomination on his own and did not get a signal from the White House. Yeah, right. A belated sense of right and wrong. Nothing to do with Republicans champing at the bit to grill him about not paying taxes for two years, taxes on income for consulting work, car and driver, etc.

Here’s the one that gets me: he deducted too much for charitable contributions. According to surveys I’ve seen, rich, white liberals are the least religious voting group and give the least to charity. And when a rich, white liberal like Daschle gives to charity, he deducts too much, as if the idea of giving is so offensive he wants to make damn sure he gets as much compensation as possible, even if it means taking from us.

What is with these people? Who is John Galt?
