B. Hussein Urkel’s Approval Rating Crashes

Could it be when he made a big announcement approving federal money for stem cell research only to reverse himself quietly 48 hours later by re-signing the federal funding ban hidden in the $410 billion Appropriations Pork bill? Or maybe it was his condemning of President Bush’s use of signing statements for legislation and promising never to do it himself, and then doing it? Or maybe it was making fun of special needs kids? Or the empty Treasury Department? Or all the tax cheats he’s appointed? I could go on and on, but here’s what we do know–

    Our entire family gets a kick out of the “B Hussein Urkel” business…. A bit of levity is surely needed these days.

    I would be careful here. This is Zogby’s poll, which tends to see things that are not there (at one point Zogby was hinting at a 50-state landslide for JFK in 2004, and that one came up a bit short). Rasmussen has it 56% positive to 43% negative, and that polling firm usually is far more accurate.

    Go to Rasmussen and check the strongly approve/strongly disapprove trend lines (today it is at 36% strongly approve to 32% strongly disapprove, and the gap has been narrowing for some time). Then make your prediction when they will flip.

    I predict that Rasmussen and other independent polls will show the Won below 50% approval by July 1.

    I seriously think there’s a good chance Barry resigns before the end of his term, citing some face-saving family mystery illness, etc. Even a Biden presidency is starting to look good by comparison.
