John Bolton is one man we’ve been able to count on for honest, clear authentically conservative assessments of what’s happening in our great country. He doesn’t disappoint with his latest as he critiques what’s wrong with the neophyte in the White House.

Obama continues Bush’s 2nd term — badly

…The Obama administration’s first few months already provide compelling evidence of the enormous costs of embracing the alternative worldview of the European and American left. Of course, that was equally true when the Bush administration all-too-frequently deviated from conservative precepts, especially in its failure-ridden second-term. In many ways, unfortunately, the Obama administration is a continuation of the second Bush term, only worse.

Former President George W. Bush’s mistakes resulted from sleep-walking away from conservative values, whereas President Obama openly repudiates them, both believing in and fully understanding what he is doing. Accordingly, conservatives need engage in no “agonizing reappraisals” of their fundamental views. They need to adjust to being in opposition, but that is the purest kind of opportunity, not a burden.

Few people could speak about the frustration of bad polilcy being indemnified than John Bolton.
He did well, damn well, at the UN. Consider that the Secretary of State was a vanity case in need clinical attention, and her department was rancid with leftists.
If ever a man was put out to stand alone, it was John Bolton.
(I often wonder what kind of rapport Bolton might have had with Richard Clarke, a man shunned and driven to the other side by Egotists in the Bush adminiistration. He may be found to be a truly tragic figue as well. All he did was warn us {during Clinton and Bush} about 9/11.)

As always, John Bolton’s words are clear and cutting. He speaks the truth and is worthy of one’s trust. He effectively repudiates the so-called need for conservatives to re-evaluate their beliefs and values. And viewing this as an opportunity tells me he has the right mindset, unlike the “woe-is-us” state of so-called moderates.

I often wonder if Mr. Bolton would be interested in running for the Presidency.

If Bolton himself doesn’t run for President (I doubt he would), he should be Secretary of State for whoever does.
