Go, Barry Go! Lend that “endangered” Democrat senator a hand. Too bad your hand will be all sweaty and slippery, but lend it to him anyway. Even though you’re gonna let go and he’s gonna crash to the bottom of the electoral canyon (like Corzine and Coakley) but do it Barry! And yes, Senator Bennet, that is the “Murder, She Wrote” theme music playing in the background. After all, isn’t obvious yet that when you invite Mrs. Fletcher to dinner something bad is gonna happen?

Obama Lends Hand To Endangered Democratic Senator in Denver

President Obama came to the aid on Thursday of his endangered ally, Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, in an apparent nod to concerns about Democratic seats in November.

“We do not quit,” Obama said in aligning himself ever closer with Bennet, still new on the Senate scene and now fighting a challenge in his own party…
Along with Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, Bennet is one of only a handful of incumbent senators to receive a pledge of support from the president before the party primaries

Wow, just a few? He really must not like them! It does appear Barry, considering Bennets numbers, is quite determined to embrace his Mrs. Fletcher alter-ego.

Bennet, an incumbent appointed to fill the seat vacated by Ken Salazar when Salazar took a post as interior secretary in the president’s Cabinet, is considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats running for re-election this year.

A recent Rasmussen Reports survey of 500 likely voters shows Bennet trailing two of three potential Republican challengers by at least 14 percentage points. His strongest challenger, former Lt. Gov. Jane Norton, leads Bennet 51 percent to 37 percent in the poll.

Yeah, I think that’s gonna leave a mark.

I don’t get it. Obama has done this repeatedly. He keeps sticking his neck out for sure losers. As the saying goes, “This diminishes his brand,” but Obama doesn’t seem to care. Secondly, he’s trying to boost Bennet in a race where he has competition in his own party. Who knows? Maybe Bennet’s competitor will be better. Wouldn’t Obama want a Democrat who can win?

I don’t know, but it seems like Obama keeps thinking that his “magic charm” can accomplish anything, turning a sure loser into a sure winner, even though he’s already had 3 or more examples where it hasn’t worked. He’s confirming Jonah Goldberg’s thesis about him and his advisors more and more: “I got a fever! And the only prescription is more cowbell!”

The other day I came here to release some of my anger regarding Bill O’Reilly bashing a group of veterans and retired police officers and I still think he was wrong about them but we don’t really know until we study and watch these people to see what truly is in their hearts. Yesterday Bill showed clips of our leaders at CPAC making fun of Obama not his policies. I had to agree with him that it was wrong, they looked just like the left standing there acting like children, I was embarrassed and kind of in shock. I don’t want to be like the left, it’s what’s wrong with this country and it needs to stop. I still can’t believe what I saw, it wasn’t funny and they are not comediennes. That’s why so far, I admire Sarah Palin, she doesn’t resort to personal attacks it’s always about his policies. I think our so called leaders need to take a page from Sarah’s book and apply it to theirs and lead this country while they have our support in this moment of time because it will be short lived. I just wanted to thank you Tammy for all you do and having a place where we can release our anger, hope, happiness and ideas, you say what we are thinking and you are doing a great job so please keep it up for all of us so we can keep growing.

CPAC is having a hard time from making a prank more important than a plank. Video games is a feature for this CPAC meeting.
Everyone is happy because grownups supported the Brown campaign financially…and the Mc Donnell Campaign .
But we have to remember that these youthful CPACers are the ones who will walk the streets with candidate’s key cards. Let’s hope that they are not tempted by the Romney Campaign which last election was willing to pay them some thing like $20 an hour to walk for him.
