    Just got back from Hemet, CA visiting my parents and it was rocking and a rolling out there. It was such a slow roll but it lasted a long time. It scared my mom though, to me it just felt normal. The Northridge quake now that was a shaker, this one not so much. Hope everyone is good.

      I am in Palm Springs and the quake was definitely felt here, water was sloshing in the pool. We immediately went next door to check on our neighbors who are in their 90’s…I asked Dorothy “Are you two okay?” She said, “I was in the Long Beach earthquake in 1933. My teacher was shopping in a grocery store and a shelving unit with cans fell on her and she was killed. We lived in tents for three months afterwards. This is nothing.” I said, “okay, the next time this happens then, you can come check on us!” Perspective.
