I’m honored to announce that I will be speaking at this year’s Smart Girl Summit, the now annual event sponsored by the terrific independent conservatives and authentic feminists at Smart Girl Politics–A Conservative Women’s Movement. Last year’s event was their first and a smashing success. This year they have expanded the conference to two days in Washington, DC from September 30-October 1, 2010. That’s a Thursday and Friday making it a perfect excuse to have a long weekend in our beautiful capital city 🙂

We’ll be very close to the elections by then, and I can’t imagine a greater opportunity to meet as many of you as possible, so do please join us! For the speakers list, agenda, hotel information and everything else you need to know, visit their conference website at Smart Girl Summit.

Hope to see you there!

I would love to go to this, Tammy. However, I vow not to set one big toe into Washington DC until the Urkels are GONE. I want my first trip back to be in honor of President Palin. *wink*

I live in Northern VA, so this is an easy trip for me to take. I purchased my early-bird ticket just to meet Tammy. My one concern is if it’s going to look weird being a guy at a women-centric event. Though I’m sure there’s a benefit to that. 😉 If only I weren’t so shy…

Yeah, we live in NOVA as well, and I may go, but as my wife has reminded me, I am not a “girl” and certainly not “smart”… sooo.. she wants me to wait for the Dumb Boy Summit while she attends this one solo. I plan to meet Tammy at the 2012 Palin Inauguration. Have fun JLThorpe, it should be a blast!

How about a back-stage pass for all TAMs?!! 🙂

Though I’m not a smart girl, I am a smart @ss. Can I still attend?
