New Christine O’Donnell Ad “The Taxman”

You may agree or disagree with whether or not Christine is “us” but Chris Coons is definitely “The Taxman.” Nicely done and right on target.

    The “Taxman” is dramatic but the “I’m you” is pursuasive!

    Christine is truly a normal American, not a part of the elite. “I’m You!” works!

    I think that the “Taxman” ad is very effective. It speaks to the issues that concern voters. It speaks about the consequences of voting for her opponent. It takes the attention of the attacks against her away from her and focuses attention on Chris Coons, putting him on the defensive.

    While I thought that the “I’m you” ad was great, I also thought that it didn’t really tell anyone anything about what kind of representative she would be. It felt more like a “Like me because I’m cute” ad than anything politically substantive.

    Still, I thought the “I’m you” ad had its purpose and was very effective…..made even more so by the fact that she is now extending her message from that ad with ads like this new one that add more issue-related content.

    I like her a lot and think she is very well spoken. She did a great job on Greta!
