Obama’s reference to freeing the slaves is chilling. Pay attention to the imagery that is being invoked, because this defines the framework of things to come. Slavery was evil, and its eradication took more than time. A good portion of the country was laid to waste, and two percent of the American population perished in the conflict. Obama and the other Democrat leaders have invoked the language of war against an enemy so evil that they must be stopped at any cost. We are called Nazis, slaveholders, evil, etc. This is the rhetoric of hate. I challenge anyone to find anything of that sort that comes out of the Republican leadership. I’m not saying you can’t find any Republicans that say such things. But on the whole, the party has been decent and respectful. So what’s the justification of such hate from the Democrats? What exactly are they fighting against that’s the moral equivalent of ending slavery? We have entered an era of criminal insanity, pure and simple. If the Democrat leadership get their way, we will end up killing each other.
Greta Van Susteren, despite being on the Left, has always been a fair individual. I think she shows this in the interview with that hack, Gloria Allred. It’s 100% true that Gloria doesn’t give a rat’s a** about her client, who is being harmed by the publicity. She’s just using her to get publicity and it’s disgustingly shameless.
Greta sounded angry, didn’t she.
Quilting, quilting, listening to Tammy, quilting, quilting….. It’s becoming my weekend routine, ha! I’m going to have to make you a quilt, Tam. You’re helping me to get so much done.
Mary Val, Are you using figtree fabric? 😉 Not that I have anything to do with it! LOL
Not today, making the last of 4 crib quilts so it’s baby pastels patterns and polka dots. But I have the fabric for TWO FigTree quilts in my project tubs for next year. My daughter chose a FigTree fabric line and a FigTree pattern for her quilt. And there is another one that doesn’t have a home yet, but I’m sure somebody will take it :^) Probably one of my nieces. The second quilt, saw the pattern and fabric line when searching online for my daughter. She chose the first one, I chose the second one: typical!
Savoring the Weekend Report for my Monday morning! 😉 I think Maynard hit the nail on the head (posted above) about Obama’s reference to freeing the slaves. Chilling indeed.
