First, I have to wonder why didn’t we get these people out of that pit? And secondly, why are we letting such beasts do things like this in the first place? They were harboring bin Laden, they made “peace deals” with the Taliban, and arrested one of our CIA/embassy guys, they murdered Benazir Bhutto, they committed mass terrorist carnage against our friends the Indians in the Mumbai Massacre, and we’re still giving them billions of dollars a year?
This may be worse than when al-Qaida and the Taliban were in control of Afghanistan. This is a disaster due to the very fact that we have an incompetent, absent president but until we get that sorted out in 2012, lots of lives are going to be lost, and we continue to deal with the devil. At the very least, contact your congressional representatives and tell them, in this time of such great economic uncertainly the first thing we must cut is aid to Pakistan.

The fate of the arrested group is unclear. Both in the U.S. and Pakistan, the ISI is considered a sinister agency and there are genuine fears by American officials that the group most likely may never be seen again.
Washington-based U.S. officials also described to Fox News Pakistan’s “paranoia about the CIA” and that the ISI doesn’t want the agency operating here out of fear that it may uncover the depth to which the Pakistani secret services support extremist groups like the Afghan Taliban and Al Qaeda…
The arrests also will add weight to arguments in Congress that the U.S. should cease $2 billion in annual funding to Pakistan’s military and the government amid accusations of top-level corruption.
This reminds me of how relatively highly that dummy Hillary [Clinton] has been speaking of Pakistan/the Pakistanis when it is obvious they are being an obstacle to us in many ways, as concerns the Taliban & al-Qaeda.
Hmmm … I’m sure it’s purely coincidental, but her good friend & confidant Huma is supposed to be half-Pakistani, isn’t she? (Although, I noticed in some recent video that she didn’t even bother to wear the hijab when they were meeting with some Arab personalities!)
I think it’s time to get together with India, our REAL friend in that region, and start applying some strategic pressure. No more “aid” bribery payments to Pakistan either.
