I woman speaking the truth with true courage. “I want to wish Hillary a happy Mother’s Day,” she said. “She has her child. I don’t have mine because of her.”

In the meantime, more families are demanding answers from a government, Republicans and Democrats, that seem to have abandoned them.

Claim government officials, military brass have brushed aside concerns

Family members of the fallen SEAL Team Six members shot down in Afghanistan in 2011 said members of Congress and top military brass have ignored their concerns about the circumstances surrounding their sons’ deaths at a press conference at the National Press Club on Thursday.

The families of Aaron Vaughn, Michael Strange, and Patrick Hamburger claim they were misled during the investigation and believe that flawed U.S. military “rules of engagement” policy contributed to the downing of a Chinook helicopter by the Taliban in Wardak province. All 38 people on board the Chinook, which included 15 SEAL Team Six members and seven Afghan National Army commandos, were killed.

The families also alleged the U.S. military allowed an imam to pray their sons’ “souls into eternal fire” at a ceremony at Bagram Air Base.

Billy Vaughn, father of Aaron Vaughn, said he contacted numerous members of Congress to ask for help with his inquiries about the attack. He said he received no response from House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) or Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.).

This brings to mind an irreverent YouTube rant by the irreverent YouTube ranter, “Drinking with Bob”. In this episode, Bob speculates about how Hillary would presumably be reacting quite differently from “What difference does it make?” had it been her own daughter who had been killed.

    Dianne Feinstein on Benghazi:

“I understand, Republicans have a grievance because this happened a month before the election,” Feinstein continued. “Every effort has been made to turn it into something that is diabolical. I don’t see that, and if I did, I would say that. But I don’t see that.”

I’m just wondering: Aren’t there any good optometrists left in California?

Well Shifra, if she can’t see it, maybe she should start digging around for the truth. Wombats are “extremely efficient excavators” (via wombania.com).

The Democrat strategy is simply to shrug and stonewall. Nothing happened of particular significance; not a big deal. Republicans are merely politicizing it. This is blatant nonsense, but the Dems just repeat it endlessly, and thus quash their cognitive dissonance. How do you argue with someone in a trance?

Back in the day, some defended Nixon by saying the Watergate break-in was a third-rate burglary. Why is this worth bringing down a presidency? But it came to the point where Republican support for Nixon eroded, both in and out of government. Will anything short of the destruction of the republic cause the Dems to step away from Obama? I wonder.

      I like my optometrist.

C.S.Lewis in his book,’Men without Chests’, describes people that have nothing within. They are heartless, ruthless, and merciless. This is a perfect description of modern progressives. They also have no courage and are supremely self-righteous. Is this what Americans want for leaders?
