We know. As Tammy points out, you are not the first family anywhere.

Hillary at church: ‘Here we are not the First Family’

While visiting the Methodist Church that she frequented while First Lady with her daughter Chelsea and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton stated that while at church, they are “not the First Family.” Clinton stated that she and her family, rather, are “just our family,” according to ABC News on Sunday.

Just regular folks.

The pastor, J. Philip Wogaman, is a real hoot. He introduced Bill as Hillary’s husband and Chelsea’s dad. The congregation laughed. He even had some advice for Hillary’s flagging campaign—be nicer to the press. Wogaman is known as having a progressive religio-political point of view. He was a sympathetic defender of Hillary’s husband during the Lewinisky scandal and one of the three spiritual counsels trotted out for public pacification.

My impression is that the people who were with him at the prayer breakfast continue to believe in the sincerity of his repentance. There remains considerable dispute about whether he is being “truthful,” but he certainly has acknowledged having misled the American people. I know that there are some who would not be satisfied with any phrasing of that, short of an outright confession of perjury. I think he has probably apologized enough.

Is it a desperate enough time for Hillary to take a conspicuous walk with Bible in hand?

I have a vague recollection of Clinton, in the wake of the Lewinsky affair, also seeking spiritual counsel from the “Reverend” Jesse Jackson…this shortly before Jackson’s own infidelities came to light. When that happened (as I recall; too lazy to look it up), Jackson signaled contrition and said he’d disappear for a couple of years…but returned to public life a week or two later because he was so desperately needed.

It’s strange how, in human society, certainly people are treated as innocent no matter how guilty they are, while others are treated as guilty no matter how innocent they are. Our extraordinary ability to boggle our minds boggles the mind.

Oh here we go again with Hillary’s attempt to be just like us. In a right world, Hillary, you WOULD BE the first First Family to share a prison cell.

Always remember, the family that lies together, stays together. My first thought when I hear Hillary wants to move back into the White House is that they did not steal enough stuff the last time they moved out. I remember when impeached president Clinton was in office he could have murdered someone on the White House lawn and everybody would have said, Atta-Boy! Sorry to say, that sorry sack of crap Hillary does not have the same charisma. Next President, I don’t think so!

I wonder if Hillary is going to claim to be the inspiration for Cabbage Patch Dolls?
