Bush family matriarch Barbara Bush has cut a campaign ad for her son Jeb — and the 90-year-old former first lady used the opportunity to get in a dig at Bush’s nemesis Donald Trump.
“When push comes to shove, people are going to realize Jeb has real solutions, rather than talking about how popular they are — how great they are,” she says in the online ad, in a reference to Trump’s knack for invoking positive polls and the “huge” crowds that come to see him.
“He’s doing it because he sees a huge need and it’s not being filled by anybody,” she says of her son. “Of all the people running, he seems to be the one who could solve the problems.”…
“If there’s anybody more powerful in my family than my mother, then I don’t know who it is,” Jeb Bush said Thursday night.
and how many times before this did she turn to George HW and say, “I told you he shouldn’t run” …

A better, funny ad would be one somewhat similar to the 2012 Dem ad of ‘Paul Ryan’ pushing grandma off the cliff. One of Jeb’s children speaking to a baby in a crib says, My grandma can beat up your grandma…I’m Barbara Bush and I approve this message. (tnen) JEB!
Has Marvin Bush endorsed him yet?
The last time Jeb! held an elective office was 2007. That’s over 8 years ago. Since then, he’s not held a ‘real job’ or another elective office. So him touting his ‘experience’ as Governor and thinking he’s deserving of the Office of President?. That’s a complete and utter joke. Seriously, if you were interviewing someone for a job and the last active experience was 8 years prior, would you even see the person? I think not. And having his 90 year old mother make an ad? Who is the target demo for her?…truly pathetic…
