pilot

First there was Cocaine Flight Attendant and now there’s Brothel Pilot.

Via USA Today.

A United Airlines pilot has been arrested by police in Texas on charges he ran “a string of brothels in apartment complexes throughout Houston,” the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bruce Wayne Wallis, 51, of Houston, was charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution and engaging in organized criminal activity, according to a check of Harris County court records. He was jailed after his arrest Wednesday on $15,000 bond, according to those records.

Police say Wallis was operating “about a half-dozen brothel apartments” with between six and 10 women in each, according to the Chronicle’s report.

Court records obtained by the Chronicle allege that the women’s services were advertised online and that the women had to pay Wallis $400 a week in the arrangement.

Assistant Harris County District Attorney Lester Blizzard described the alleged brothel operation as “massive” in comments to the Chronicle.

“It’s the largest operation that I’ve ever worked on,” he added to the newspaper.

Fly the Friendly Skies premium ground service has become Rhapsody in Blue. Oh Batman, how could you? Bam. Slap. Pow!

  2. Why the hell not? Seems that most everyone else from the top of the power pyramid down is rolling in the cesspool of corruption (might as well get his palm full of dung too). They sure know how to spread it around don’t they.

I blame Islamic terrorists. Back in the day, the good old “Mile High Club” was available for travelers. The rise of Islamic terrorism, and the resulting scrutiny of air travel, has forced fun-loving trippers back to the ground. Fortunately it seems the travel industry is rising to the occasion, so to speak.

By the way, does anyone else recall that incredible “Take off with us” scene from the incredible movie “All That Jazz”?

By the way, the “smart” advertisement allocation algorithm, having sniffed out the broad sense of the story on the page, has posted an airline ad with a lovely stewardess (am I still allowed to use that term?) slyly beckoning me to climb aboard. Gotta love smart technology! That’s what I’m seeing, anyway.
