Liberals should applaud this proposed bill, since their dream is become more like the EU, where “social harmony” is more important than free expression.
A new bill being considered by the California State Senate would punish people who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” in a public health, retirement or housing institution.
The bill, SB 219, was proposed by State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco). It includes several other provisions that require a health facility, for example, to honor the gender identity of a patient, meaning that the patient must be admitted to a room that comports with his or her chosen gender; allowed to use whatever bathroom he or she wants to use; and wear whatever clothing or cosmetics he or she decides to wear. It has gone through several amendments….

If burning a flag, which I find exceedingly offensive is protected speech under the First Amendment, then the precious little snowflakes will just have to suck it up.
This nonsense needs to be squashed and quick.
Excellent point, Los2K.
Ze may not agree with what Hir say, but Xe will fight to the death Xem right to go to preferred bathroom. Or something.
LOL!
This ludicrous hysteria (am I still allowed to use “the h-word”?) brings to mind Kipling’s poem, “If–“, the one that begins…
But I realize I’m no longer allowed to quote that poem, because it goes along just fine but then ramps up to an ugly conclusion…
I guess we gotta change that to a “you’ll be a Cze, my Cze!”, or something like that. Doesn’t have quite the same impact, though.
