They have no idea what it is but they do know it’s not a threat. Sorta like Obama I suppose. Lovely.

ICBM nuke sub as a show of force towards the US? Hopefully was just a training exercise.

As serious as this might be, I can’t get over the stupid comments in early reports. “Maybe we’re having a show of force toward Asia?” Fire that man.
Duh, we don’t know what’s happening, but national security is not in jeopardy.
Hopefully it is nothing, but after all we have been thru, where are the grownups?

The systems we have are too advanced not to know.

An intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is a ballistic missile with a long range (greater than 5,500 km or 3,500 miles) typically designed for nuclear weapons delivery (delivering one or more nuclear warheads). Due to their great range and firepower, in an all-out nuclear war, land-based and submarine-based ballistic missiles would carry most of the destructive force, with nuclear-armed bombers having the remainder.

While the warheads of theater ballistic missiles are often conventional, ICBMs have been nearly inseparable from their connection with nuclear warheads. ‘Nuclear ICBM’ was seen as a redundant term. Strategic planning avoided the concept of a conventionally tipped ICBM, mainly because any ICBM launch threatens many countries and they are expected to react under the worst-case assumption that it is a nuclear attack. This threat of ICBMs to deliver such a lethal blow so rapidly to targets across the globe has resulted in the interesting fact that there has never been any end-to-end test of a nuclear-armed ICBM.

Interresting. The “Club-K” missle is a missle launch system that is disguised as a shipping container, or a semi-truck trailer. I saw one several days ago on a U-Tube link to another story. This could have been an experiment, but the question is: Why experiment close to your target, unless the launch boat is too small to go out hundreds of miles to conduct a test un-detected. A club-k would be the ideal platform to deliver an EMP attack from. You would only need a range of 500 miles from Galveston TX, and achieve an alititude of 220 miles to end our electric systems for months.

They are lying through their teeth. They know what it is, they just aren’t telling.

Wait — Naval Air Station Point Mugu (or is that Magoo?) didn’t see anything? What?

I have seen the shuttle launch from my home since the first one in the early 80’s. That was a rocket. Someone call Art Bell.

Hey, this might become the deadly tragedy Mark Penn was hoping for, so that Obama can reconnect with us bitter clingers, never mind that the Messiah-In-Chief could have milked the oil spill and Fort Hood for all they were worth.

what brought down TWA flight 800 on July 17, 1996?

    http://twa800.com/

“We, the eyewitnesses know that missiles were involved. We don’t know who launched them, but we know that for some reason our government has lied and tried to discredit all of us to keep that question from being addressed.” … “-August 15, 2000. Washington Times Ad, the TWA 800 Eyewitness Alliance .

all 230 people on board died.
