Loser.

Loser.

Yeah, TOTUS isn’t the only thing falling these days. Someone should warn our Pouter-in-Chief that complaining about Cheney won’t work this time.

Obama Approval Rating Slips to 57 Percent
CBS News Poll: President Loses Support Amid Concerns About Economy; Loss In Backing Comes From Democrats And Independents

President Obama’s approval rating has fallen six points in the past month, a new CBS News poll finds, amid growing skepticism about his handling of the economy and questions about the impact of the stimulus package.

The president’s current approval rating, which is 57 percent, is still relatively high. But it has fallen 11 points from its peak of 68 percent in April, and has also dropped since last month’s mark of 63 percent. His disapproval rating, meanwhile, has risen from 23 percent in April to 32 percent today.

TOTUS crushing to the floor and breaking into pieces and approval rating plummeting has the little boy pouting. I think he may have also lost his binkie.

I understand TOTUS is doing fine – just saw all the messages and well wishes on FB. In fact, TOTUS was grateful the accident happened before government healthcare was imposed on us all.

That pic of the CandyA** In Chief pouting brings out the John McEnroe in me. I’m referring to the John McEnroe of the 1980’s if you know what I mean. I was in a good mood after teaching tonight, but all that disappeared w/ that pic.

57% is still too high. How long until our country wakes up from this nightmare? This whole thing is like a bad version of the old movie ‘Seven Days in May,’ where the U.S. gov’t was almost taken over in a coup. I am so sick of the press 000-ing and ah-ing over Urkel & Co. I cringe every time I hear “J. Crew.” I don’t want to hear about Mrs. Urkel’s arms. (Just for the record, Michelle, you do NOT look fabulous in sleeveless, just really undignified). I don’t care if his kids are cute. My grandkids are also very cute, but that doesn’t give me the right to dictate what kind of lightbulbs you can use. By the way, did anyone notice that the LEFT part of the teleprompter crashed? Is this a sign from Above ????

Shifra – I’m with you. 57% is still too high. When Bush’s approval ratings were in those brackets, did anyone say it was negative? Let’s not forget that Bush also enjoyed a 98% approval after 9/11. It took nearly 2 years for his numbers to drop to Obama’s current level. I guess what’s significant is that the CandyA**’ numbers fell 6 points in just one month. But if people were truly paying attention and understood the danger this f(rea)k poses to the country, it would drop even more. In fact, if anyone was paying attention at all, he would have NEVER been elected in the first place!

Trying to figure out Obama zombies is futile. These people are truly brainwashed and they are rude as hell. The senior citizens who are obsessed w/ nationalized healthcare are the worst by far! It’s really kind of sobering and in fact, troubling, to have a robot in your face spouting off everything they hear on tv( ‘You’re using fear tactics!’ ‘You’re rich and don’t have to worry about your care!’ ‘You’re discriminating!’ – I kid you not – that’s exactly what these Obamabots were saying at a recent healthcare protest I attended). The truth is, those of us opposing Obama and his agenda are trying to warn people about the oven they are going to be tossed into! They won’t listen and for some, they will never learn – period. Even if they are left in a corner to rot because their cancer is terminal and too expensive for Obama to pay for, they will go to their grave thinking this guy is fighting for them.

Too many in this country still approve of this jerk. We don’t have the media on our side, so we need to band together and make as much noise as possible. It’s working in Arizona – we are getting some press for our activities countering the Obamabots. It didn’t take an army of us either – just the fact we are showing up and basically, using the tactics the left have comfortably employed for so long against them. I’m happy about that! The left didn’t get this powerful overnight, and it’s going to take a while to fight them. But we are fighting and we’re not backing down. That’s the only way we will win.

      Artgal,
Well, here’s something that seems to work, at least it did for me: I heard Frank Luntz, the pollster, say the following — (I know Tammy thinks there’s something strange about him, and she is right, but he did make an interesting point) He said that for some reason, when you use the “healthcare will be rationed” point, Liberals don’t seem to “get it.” BUT when you mention “having to wait forever for a procedure,” it does somehow resonate with Libs. So, when arguing with an Upper West Side of Manhattan overeducated/uninformed psychologist, I quoted the story of an earlier post on this website, about someone who was arguing with his Canadian colleague, who admitted that if he needs surgery, he’ll just come to the States, instead of waiting two years for surgery. This woman was very quiet for a moment, and she actually looked troubled, and said, “Oh! That’s a problem! I never thought of it that way before.” The poblem is that Urkel is such a liar, and so smooth, that he makes it sound like a moral obligation to pass this idiotic Deathcare thing, “to help the less fortunate.” I guess this must appeal to some grandiose elitist liberal ‘I’m such a wonderful person because I care about the poor’ sentiment.
