Here’s my ONE take away after all the talk and expert analysis today:

The Pakistani Government knew, for years now, that the Bin Laden was at that exact location in Abbotabad.

What the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is going to do about it is another issue.

as i know to hear or face this fact is hard … we must face the truth, the truth is pakistan is a nuclear power and to allow the enemy access to that horror is not possible so we must continue to deal with pakistan and not justly cut them loose for their double dealing ways

I am beyond tired now of the constant OBVIOUS lying and deceit coming from Pakistan, and our nation’s disappointing continual official acceptance of such deception as truth.

Just yesterday I almost hit the TV screen (again — it’s been a rough two years!) as I watched Hillary Clinton pay homage to Pakistan and how its intelligence helped lead us to Bin-Laden. Oh for cripe’s sakes Hillary, spare us the diplomatic BS! I may be naive in the affairs of diplomatic strategy and intrigue, but my soul longs for the truth to be exercised in and from our government. Especially this “most transparent” of US governments (heh).

In my opinion, Pakistan seems to have done pretty much all it can to aid and abet Islamic terrorists on the down-low, while at the same time publically lying to the US and its allies how much it’s helping with intelligence and working to root the terrorists out. Disgusting, and I’m not alone, and as this realization mounts worldwide I’m sure Pakistan will feel this disgust for their duplicitous actions.

I was ill Sunday & Monday but able to listen to the news–Fox News Channel being my preferred selection. I heard that they referred to OBL as “Geronimo” and at first, thought I was dreaming. I am employed on a very small remote Indian reservation and have to tell you –Geronimo is not considered a murderer to the many patriotic Native Americans I work with. Geronimo, Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, Cochise, et. al. are all considered great warriors in the Native American culture. These men were fighting for their land and their right to survive. Many here see the calvary as the invaders, considering the calvary in every case, told the warriors that if they turned over their weapons and surrendered, the US government would give them land and cattle to feed their people. When they did so, the calvary arrested them and incarcrated them. As an educator, I have to share the sadness and offense of using “Germonimo” for a synonym of OBL. [Thanks for allowing me to share.]

I had the same reaction. It’s as though everyone deciding these things are east of the Mississippi and have absolutely no clue. I thought it was also insulting to name him ostensibly an *American* name.
