The Compulsion to Confess, via a microphone left on. But of course we know this–he lied to us in 2008 and he’s lying to us now. Obama’s comments to Russia’s Medvedev simply confirm what we already know about this bastard. And it’s not just on missile defense, but on every issue relevant to the quality of our lives. This particular revelation, however, makes it clear that Obama is completely prepared, willing and even eager to see us out. Just after his election when he’ll have “more flexiility.” Are you willing to give that to him? I would think not.

This is from the Weekly Standard, via Jake Tapper at ABC.

President Obama got caught in private conversation with a hot mic today in Seoul, South Korea, telling outgoing Russian president Dmitry Medvedev that Vladimir Putin should give him more “space” and that “[a]fter my election I have more flexibility.”

Jake Tapper has the exchange:

President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.”

President Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”

President Obama: “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”

President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you.”

WWRD (what would Reagan do) Oh yeh, he would say that the bombing starts in 5 minutes.

I’m partially inclined to think that Urkel purposefully made open mic statement, so as to stick his thumb into Reagans memory.

Remember, Alain41, how the Left had a massive meltdown over Reagan’s remark? (and Reagan was joking…)

“More flexibility” = “less accountability”. Which is pretty much the way the American heartland regards modern Washington, as an all-powerful entity accountable to no one except its cronies. Likewise, Washington sees the heartland as too mean and stupid to be allowed its liberty. As with the contraception debacle, the advocates of “progress” cheer Washington on, not because the actions being taken will do any particular good, but for the sole reason of showing the heartland who is in charge. The appeal to divisiveness is the red meat that Obama hopes will fire up his base and carry him to a second term.

As we TAMS and Conservatives have known since 2008….BE AFRAID…BE VERY AFRAID!

I got a shiver down my spine when I heard this “flexibility” comment to Medvedev. The enormity of what “flexibility” means is gigantic!

Hearing things like this, I would almost be willing to vote for Ron Paul just to get this power-hungry liar out of office.

    Almost. But not quite.
