obama-lie

Two weeks ago, Caroline Glick, an editor at the Jerusalem Post, wrote the following:

via The Jerusalem Post: Obamacare’s Victims and Israel

US President Barack Obama views lies as legitimate political tools. He uses lies strategically to accomplish through mendacity what he could never achieve through honest means.

Obama lies in both domestic and foreign policy.

On the domestic front, despite Obama’s repeated promises that Obamacare would not threaten anyone’s existing health insurance policies, over the past two weeks, millions Americans have received notices from their health insurance companies that their policies have been canceled because they don’t abide by Obamacare’s requirements….

Obama’s mendacity is not limited to domestic policy. It operates in foreign affairs as well….

As was the case with Obamacare, the White House knows that most Americans won’t support its policy of doing nothing to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. So the White House never says that this is its policy. Obama and his advisers insist that preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power is a central goal of the administration. But their actions move US policy in the opposite direction. And if they get caught on the lies after Iran gets the bomb, well, Obama won’t be facing reelection, so he will pay no price for his duplicity.

The mendacity at the heart of Obama’s political playbook is something that Israel needs to understand if it to survive his presidency without major damage to its strategic viability….

Picking up on this theme, the Emergency Committee for Israel is set to air the following ad:

via Washington Free Beacon: Obama’s March to war — New ad casts doubt on Obama’s promise to stop Iran

A new advertisement set to hit the airwaves this week uses President Barack Obama’s own words in order to cast doubt on his multiple promises to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Created by the Emergency Committee for Israel (ECI), a pro-Israel group known to ruffle feathers in liberal circles, the ad rehashes several broken promises Obama has made in the past weeks.

Can we survive another three years with Obama as POTUS?

Can Israel?

Worse than doing nothing to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear device, actively campaigns to prevent others from doing something.

I think stuxnet virus effort was started under Bush, so couldn’t really stop that. Instead used it to say, see we’re trying to stop Iran. Delay and stop are two different things.

When discussing lies, don’t forget the NSA. Recall the New York Times editorial comment, “The administration has now lost all credibility” (and later appended the qualifying phrase “on this issue”). Some liberals were surprised to find that Obama had done the opposite of what he promised with respect to surveillance. It’s also on the record that he’s done the opposite of what he promised with respect to debt. What’s the point in listening to him? The sad part is, just as most Republicans enabled Bush’s spending spree, so are the Democrats enabling Obama’s crazy rampage. Seems that integrity has been entirely removed from leadership.

Why are lies told in the first place? Why are the lies tolerated in this country & worldwide? Is there a definition of truth that even exists for the leader of our country? Perhaps, in his mind, the definition of truth is so fluctuating, that truth is not an issue, EVER. Thank you Shifra for keeping us aware to the things the rest of the world thinks about the USA & it’s leaders.

As a Muslim, to lie is perfectly acceptable to further Islam. This person (Odumbo), is not working to further Americans goals.

With communications operating at the speed of light now, there should be a way to reign in deceptive governing in between election cycles.

    Great post, Shifra!

Ouch! Good to see real journalists telling the truth and calling a spade a spade, or in OBummer’s case, calling a liar a liar. Don’t look now, but I think the Obummer bots are starting to wake up from their stoopid stupor as the veil is lifted and they start to piece together all the lies and deception he has wrought over the past 5 years. Yeah Obots, welcome to our world. Oh, and get to the back of the line for kicking his tail! We ain’t done yet.

With relation to Israel, no one looking at OBummer’s actions believes he’s a friend of Israel. Nevermind what he says, you can’t believe a word he says. Bibi knows this better than anyone and I believe he will do what is necessary to preserve the nation’s interest, survival. In the final analysis, Israel has a friend who will stick closer than a brother, and His name is not Barack.

Speaking of slimeballs, the liberal website Slate, has this article title about Terry McAuliffe’s recent appointment selection: Terry McAuliffe Begins His Reign of Sleaze.

Yes Virginia, if you’re a politically connected Democrat, there is a Santa Claus.

    http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2013/11/20/terry_mcauliffe_hires_greentech_executive.html

“…McAuliffe has now appointed Levar Stoney, a GreenTech employee and McAuliffe’s former deputy campaign manager, to be secretary of the commonwealth. Aside from the whole GreenTech ethics investigation, in 2004 Stoney was embroiled in a scandal involving Democratic operatives who slashed the tires of vans mean to drive Republican voters in Milwaukee County to the polls….”

when iran calls the us rabid dogs, and our response is crickets, and this in the middle of kabuki negotiations, you know our standing as a world super power and ally to israel has faded.

Didn’t know this. JFK tacitly okayed the coup of Diem (South Vietnam). Only Diem was supposed to be given asylum in the U.S. not killed. Additional info. point that Benghazi may have supposed to have been a setup kidnapping in order to do prisoner exchange, but it ended up like asylum for Diem.

Obama read a written version of The Gettysburg Address that left out, under God. Very poor decision by Steve Burns to have the President read that version, but I can give the benefit of doubt on it. The following, I can not. Obama wrote (his speechwriters I’m sure) a present day Address to pay homage to The Gettysburg Address. It’s handwritten and approx. the same length. NRO has a column on how bad this is, article says mainly because Obama takes the occasion to push collectivism. It’s worse than the NRO column says. He starts off with two prominent, I (s), in this and he inserts a phrase about blood from the lash. It is really bad. WH must be glad for the attention to his reading for Burns.

And to show the WH’s ‘serious side’. They tweeted that the Nuclear Option is a really big deal. And that’s posted on the home page of the WH website.
