Our thoughts and prayers today are with all the people in Texas who may be in harm’s way as Hurricane Harvey approaches.
This is, of course, not a time to play politics.
Unless you are Jim Acosta, at CNN, who just cannot help himself; President Trump seems to live, rent free, in Acosta’s head.
As Hurricane Harvey rapidly approaches the coast of Texas, CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta took the occasion to swipe at Donald Trump; bizarrely claiming the President’s attacks on “fake news” may sway people to dismiss the media’s evacuation warnings.
Acosta posted the warning on social media, where he said it was “not a good time” to attack the press, with so many “relying on national and local news outlets” for vital information regarding the approaching storm.
“Not a good time to take shots at ‘fake news.’ Millions will be relying on national and local news outlets to stay safe during hurricane,” he wrote.
In the meantime, good people, including President Trump, were hard at work…

It’s always been; News, Sports, and Weather. Sometimes, Traffic, also. But I guess Acosta has never listened to a local newscast.
