What exactly is the point of carrying a concealed gun, if you are supposed to run away?

Sounds like he is advocating for a good pair of Nikes.

Is this what he instructs his deputies to do?

    That quote was taken out of context…what he actually said was “Even if you have a gun, run, find a stapler and throw it. Then hide.”

    I really think Sheriff Is-he-for-real was particularly derelict in his duty by his failure to provide his deputies with Safe Space teddy bears to comfort themselves with while they huddled outside the school.

    Run, Hide, Fight is what’s taught to unarmed citizens for an active shooter situation. In those videos (I’ve sat through a couple as required training.) it is mentioned that Security and Police will respond. And there’s the rub.
    Sheriff IsNptForReal (Thx PopArt) sounds like he’s scared of Trayvon Martin on his watch.
